EVERY STONE HAS A STATUE IN IT; EVERY STUDENT IS A POTENTIAL SCHOLAR.
I believe by now, examination is not a strange experience to
all Akokites but it’s amazing that some of us still panic whenever is
examination time, I’m sure some of us have written over fifty examinations
during our days in nursery, primary and secondary school but you now ask
yourself why do you still panic for what you’ve done for over fifty times or is
it natural to fear whenever is examination time. Avoid panicking but welcome
nerves which are great aids in examinations, being nervous enables one to read
for a longer time without fatigue.
Here are some tips on how to get excellent grades
ü Avoid procrastination, especially now
that the examination day is here
ü Eat balance diet & remain
hygienic, it guarantee good health during exams
ü Read the examiner questions carefully
ü Answer the easiest question first-it
help to build confidence
ü Mind your handwriting
ü Go through your answer script before
submission
ü Obey the school examination rules and
regulation in the examination hall
ü Avoid post-mortem after the
examination, having done the examination you are strongly advised to desist from
discussing on the answer script you have submitted. This is necessary in order
to avoid superfluous anxiety.
ü Whatever mistake you must have done,
trust God for success.
Apart from ignorance, failure to
answer questions correctly is undoubtedly the greatest bar to success. One can
write hundred pages of brilliant exposition, but if it’s not the answer to the
set questions, you know what to expect. Perfection may appear difficult but if
you chase after perfection you will attain excellence, read as if there is no
God to help and pray as if you have never read. BEST WISHES TO YOU ALL.
